Stemmerkogel and Mittelgipfel – Panoramic Hike

From Schwarm Haus Apartment, drive via Saalfelden and Viehhofen to the Schattberg X-Press valley station in Saalbach. Take the cable car to Schattberg Ost (2,020 m); it is free with the Saalfelden Leogang Card under the card’s current conditions. Hike towards Marxtensattel and on to the summit of Stemmerkogel (2,123 m). Return via Marxtensattel and the scenic ridge near Mittelgipfel (2,097 m) to Schattberg Ost. Expect exposed Alpine terrain and changing mountain weather; wear suitable footwear and check lift operating times. The mapped circular hike is approximately 6.6 km and 2 h 45 min.
